Job Description
We are looking for a Associate User Experience Designer who has keen interest in designing web applications that are both functional and usable.
What do we look for in you
- Willingness to learn the theoretical areas of user experience design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving and skills
- Design user journeys and user interfaces for web and mobile
- Interest in prototyping and conducting user research
- Experience using Figma for user interface design
- Enjoy maintaining structure, design discipline, and conduct design reviews
- Understanding platform-specific design and usability guidelines
- Willingness to learn new design paradigms and propose design improvements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Minimum 1 year of related work experience in a similar capacity
- Proficiency in Adobe creative suite applications such as Illustrator, After effects
- 3D graphics / illustration skills
- Motion design / animated prototyping
Technical responsibilities
- Conduct research activities based on the product roadmap, interviewing users, setting up surveys and usability tests and presenting the results
- Discover, validate, and iterate design solutions based on user feedback through UX methods such as prototyping, A/B testing, usability testing, user interviews, and focus group studies
- Present the findings of the research and user interface designs with the product owner and rest of the team
- Create mockups and interactive prototypes, working with other designers and developers to create production ready user interface assets with documentation
- Maintain and evolve design system guidelines and workflows to maintain the consistency of the user interface design of the products
Delivery responsibilities
- Provide support to product owners and engineering leaders to ensure project tasks are completed in timely manner
- Present the design work and improve based on feedback from the team
- Apply best practice and standards, then actively review if they are implemented correctly in your work
- Follow agile scrum or kanban methodology
Common responsibilities
- Participate in peer design reviews and complete the goals that are assigned to you
- Actively contribute in company initiatives that are assigned in order to achieve the company goals
- Clearly communicate, both written and spoken, with team and all stakeholders
