Job Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer who has keen interest in developing web applications that are both functional and usable.
What do we look for in you
- Minimum 2 years of work experience 1+ years of experience in React
- A thorough and deep understanding of all major front-end web development languages, especially HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- An understanding of React and it’s ecosystem (Redux, Redux Toolkit, React Query, React Tables)
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Knowledge about package managers (Yarn/NPM)
- Familiarity with version controlling such as Bitbucket, Github
- Understanding about cross browser compatibility and SEO
- Willingness to learn new programming paradigms, languages, and technologies
- Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and can do attitude
- Experience in agile project management and contributing to process improvements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Typescript / Angular / Vue / Tailwind will be added advantages
- Knowledge of server side scripting will be an advantage (Node JS, PHP)
- Working with Content Management Systems (CMS) and site building tools will be an added advantages (Wordpress, Webflow, Strapi)
Technical Responsibilities
- Front-end development with a focus on visual design
- Build features and applications with a focus on mobile responsive design
- Combine front-end layer with back-end API and logic
- Enjoy writing well structured and clean code
- Understand and be comfortable working with APIs
- Able to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Stay up to date with industry trends and share knowledge with others
Delivery responsibilities
- Work with development teams and designers to ideate software solutions
- Keep the products quality and output according to company standards and industry best practices
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
- Self QA is a must before delivering any feature to review
